MATTHEW WILLIAMSON - H&M

While the sun is shining and the spring finally has arrived in the streets of Oslo, the chit-chat-talk-about is Matthew Williamson's collaboration with H&M. Personally, I got a bit disappointed seeing the pictures, but turned out the spring collection looked a lot better in real life. Unfortunately, I didn't snap up any of my favs.

MARQUIS & CAMUS

My very first blessing in this blog is dedicated Marquis & Camus. I randomly came over this brand a few days ago and it's doubtlessly worth a look. If you got a thing for Lanvin jewellery and statement accesories (like me), you'll definitely love Marquis & Camus. Their hand-made jewellery are outstanding and unique with vintage elements, such as vintage chandelier crystals and military pins. I noticed a great use of "chaining", silk bias ribbons, crystals and bows, which obviously makes it even better. Perfectly made for me, eh?:)

Yup, I love them.

I WON, I WON!

13:40 I received a SMS saying (simplified):
Congratulations! Solveig just won a gift card from Cubus worth 500 kr.

500 kr isn't that much and Cubus isn't excactly my favorite store, but HEY! Receiving a gift card for putting on some Cubus pants, taking a picture and uploading it on their website is definately more than okay with me. And really, the store isn't that bad after all. Cubus has improved a lot after their "make-over" a few years ago. My plan is to lie in wait for the perfect item. Happy mood!

If you wonder how I won the gift card, I attended a jeans competition Cubus held.
The only two requirements were:
1. Wear a pair of Cubus-jeans
2. Take an outfit picture in front of a banner in a random Cubus-store.

APOLOGIZING

Sorry for being absent the last few days. I've had plenty of things going on lately, and this blog haven't exactly been my first priority - unfortunately. At the moment, I'm in Gjøvik, two hours from Oslo. I just played in a music competition here, and tomorrow I'm playing again with my little sister on the cello. Later tomorrow, I'm going back to Oslo on a workshop and soundcheck for a competition (UKM) with my band at Sentrum Scene. On sunday, I'm playing at Sentrum Scene, and then going back to Gjøvik, and eventually going back to Oslo again. Stressfull!

Bag - Mulberry Bayswater
Straightforwardly, I just want this. No, I need this! It's not a leather jacket alone I'm in a great need of nowadays; a timeless black leather bag with silver hardware is also considerably relevant for my wardrobe. The leather is perfectly soft, it ages naturally and looks even better with the years. My sister possess this bag in the colour oak, and the leather has grown to be quite characteristic with the use. Give me!
